Fat Boy needs a slim seat???
Discussion
I tried to offer up the Cobra Monaco S seat I have in the car today with little success. The bolsters touch the sill and tranny tunnel and thats without the door bar in place. The width of the seat is 510mm, It also appears a tad too high which is preventing me from raising it a tad.
ideally I am looking for a narrower seat.
Any guys that are my size and shape (not fat just big boned
) have any experience with another seat that fits a small car like mine.

We have a Corbeau Sprint in the Sagaris which is very tight for space around the shoulder area. Although Darren Dowling is built like a beanpole, he does in fact have what are best described as 'child bearing hips'. He couldn't fit the Recaro Porsche GT2 seat I already had, and we had to buy the Corbeau which he does fit. It is the Sprint standard width.
I can get the Corbeaus at a much lower rate than the Demon Tweeks price, so give me a shout if you want one. They will also embroider them for you if you want - name and or a logo - for about £15.

I've just bought new overals and underwear. I went for light-weight and cool (not trendy cool) underwear. After paying for it, I wont be able to eat for weeks - it's maybe worth a thought and could help re-additional seat costs.
you did get the undwear in a dark colour, preferably Brown !!! didnt you..
Hides a lot of embarrassment, when getting changed / having them cut off in hospital
You may find that you need to tighten the belts up just before you go out for the first race as well... you tend to "unload" a few times just before
so make sure they easy to adjust

My Dad and I don't have seats our racing cars, we sit on the bare aluminium, inches from the surface of the road, it hurts if you go over a bump though. The scruitineers deem it to be safe, there is no fire risk after all and we are strapped straight onto the chassis.

Sparco Evo, you can get it in extra wide, that's the widest seat I could get in the Cerb with the roll cage and a bit of space to adjust the belts, and I'm no light-weight at 16 stone and 5'7",
albeit it is all muscle!
(Mrs Wilson made me put that in!)
