Another major manufacturer can only be good IMO. It would be nice to see them back in the BTCC too, even if the cars are run by an independant team.

It was great watching those huge estates trading paint with the other cars!

They weren't that Huge, some would say they were a little on the small side.

If it fits the WTCC rules it's a touring car...for championship purposes.

I do agree with what you're saying though and the Seat Leon falls into the same category. The BTCC Vectras and BMW's are more in the mould of a Touring Car IMHO. Even the Chevrolet (Daewoo) Lacetti is more of a Toruing Car than the hatches.

It would be good to see more manufacturers in the Wtcc but I just wish they could agree on using the same fuel. At the moment there are special concessions made depending on how quick the car is which somewhat distorts the true performance of the cars. Now if these cars come in using E85 fuel it could stir up a right hornets nest, that is if they take a few podium places.

Only BMW, Seat & Chev are proper manufacturer entries.
Honda & Lada are not.

But yes the WTCC needs more full manufacturer entries. They have less now than a couple of years ago when Alfa left.
