I was just wondering if anyone knows of any motorsport that a 15 year old could compete in other than saxmax and ginetta juniors?

Kevin Shortis is looking at a Junior fiesta championship - some talk of that now being 16-21 now though.

Formula BMW allows 15 year olds or at least did when it was a UK championship

Otherwise wait till 16 and compete in anything you like.

Thanks for the info. I will look into the Formula BMW but I will pobably have to wait until im 16 before I start motorsport

I think that T cars is still running, but I'm not sure, I could be wrong about that, haven't checked this year.

It had to be suspended this season due to lack of interest but I believe they are looking to relaunch it next season. I'd recomend doing Ginetta Juniors, I've been taking photos for a couple of the drivers this season and they love it.

I would love to enter Ginetta Juniors Marc but I dont have anywhere near that amount of money :P Thanks for the replies everyone!

Id recommend them too...but im biased

From what ive heard i think the Junior Fiesta championship is going to be replacing T-Cars.

Out of interest, but why have you not considered karts?

You're going to sruggle to avoid anything then as the Ginetta's are one of the cheapest. Formula BMW Europe budgets are much higher. I think you'll have to do as suggested earlier and look at karts for now.

Hmm ok. Would have prefered tin top but yeh your all right, Ill stick to karting until I get older and a job :P
