Can anyone tell me the race program for the revival, only the website seems a bit vague. They usually have a race for the GT40/Lola T70 type cars and i want to go on the day these are running.........Martin

The GT40/Lola T70s were usually out in the Whitsun Trophy race, but doesn't seem to be on this years schedule.

usually a GT race from the 60s, 250 GTOs, E Types, Cobras etc, a sportscar race from the late sixties and early seventies(?) so T70s, GT40s, 330s etc
a formula junior race though front engined only. a race for f1 cars around the mid fifties so coopers, 250Fs, Dinos etc. a saloon car race for mustangs, falcons, minis etc something for earlier saloon cars, Austin A35, Morris' etc.... cant remember anymore...

I think he has looked at that, it doesn't give the schedule for the races though, as in what's on at what time on each day.

If that page is listing all the races then there are only two sports car races all weekend?........Shan`t bother if that`s the case, i have no interest in open wheelers......Martin

As an alternative, you could try the Britcar 24 hour at Silverstone the same weekend. The timetable is here: http://britcar24hr.co.uk/cms/e107_plugins/content/...

Lots of racing, plus overnight camping, air display, good access to the cars and pits.

Cars racing will not have been produced after 1966.

Martin, it says there are usually 16 races and that only lists about a dozen - not listed are :-

Fordwater Trophy
St Mary’s Trophy
Witsun Trophy
Sussex Trophy
Madgwick Cup

Plus of course the Barry Sheen Memorial Trophy

I am sure there will be plenty of sports car races as well as open wheel... smile

I`ve sent the organisers an e-mail requesting a timetable, but i do think it is a bit vague on the website. We went two years ago and it definatly listed what was on each day and the times........Martin

St Marys is only every other year I think, and as it was on last year, this is it's year off ?

St Mary's is every year but they change the age group of the cars. Think this year will be for the older saloons.

That's the one, wasn't sure if they changed the name of it between the years though. I know it's definately the older saloons this year.

Whitsun Trophy for the McLaren M1B, Lola T70 Spyder etc. is definitely there, the saloon race is for the 50's cars this year.
