does anyone know what laminated windsreen fits

wondered if anyone had replaced a laminated glass screen in a challenge car ever? as we were gently easing the new cage in ! the screenhas cracked...oh happy days...and although i have a template for a plastic screen...i would like to fit a glass one if poss.
i wonder which one it may have been . mine was made by bsg...anyone got an idea?

I dont Know , but would have thought a TVR S Series screen is the likeliest fit , given the origins of the the Challenge car.

The Autoglass part No for the S series screen is 1100WCL , if thats any help.

many thanks...will give it a try....just entered 750 mc sr and gtc race on 9th september....please dont come and watch...they have these 600hp cobras....damn! so may be hard work with all my oulton colleagues watching.....im going to get some stick....can i hire your car??

Im sure I read somewhere it was an S - screen so that would seem the way to go ....

BSG - Birmingham Safety Glass

1100 - corresponds to the old HT (Home Trade) part numbers...

Current code in ARGIC* is 9255 (92 = TVR and 55 = Tuscan) this is followed by the colour code, eg, 9255ACL - A = front, CL = Clear / GN = Green and GNGN = Green/Green top tint.

Wouldnt that be the Code for the Speed Six Tuscan Road Car? Thats very different to the Tuscan challenge car... do you know what the code for the TVR S would be? thats more likely the correct one or the challenge car...

erm... many of these screens are the same for different models; TVR-S is 9255 (or 1100 in old money).

the part number on screen (made by bsg)after checking again is FWHP7212 Mr GLASSMAN

No that was the last issue, this is in issue 122 - only delivered to subscribers yesterday so should be in the shops later in the week. Has a white Gallardo LP560-4 Versus a 997 GT2 on the cover.

Only a small shot in the Focused Events trackdays advert so nothing much to get excited over, just don't think I've ever seen another white Chimera apart from yours.
