DTM this sunday at Brands

Yep, looking forward to it. My only beef is that they use the Indy circuit rather than the GP but at least it means that you see the cars more often. Should be a top day out.

We raced on Bank Holiday monday at Brands - and they had already commandeered the entire lower paddock and had started putting up a DTM village! Enormous structures put up with cranes FFS. It will be a massive spectale. Anyone going - Enjoy.

We're going to be there. Interestingly, Nicky is due our first baby in 7 days from now, so we may make a sharp exit if anything 'starts'.

We'll be sat inside druids for the day, hopefully. She can't walk about much atm!

Good location, right side of the circuit for the medical centre!

Don't underestimate how loud DTM cars are - bit difficult to give the bump ear defenders though!

Still in 2 minds if i am going to make an appearance! for the same reason as Altrezia, my wife is due in the next few weeks with twins so i dont really fancy my wife sitting trackside allday!

Got my Tickets through yesterday. Not sure what the weather is doing, fancy going on the Hayabusa to miss the traffic, but if it rains might have to resort to the C6.3 AMG. Is any one meeting up along the way?

Not to mention the Cobra, or going on the hoon. I've had a lot of fun getting bump acclimatised!

Friends went last year & said it as great so I'm going as well on Sunday, got seats in the Hailwood Grandstand which apparently has no roof, correct anybody ? as heavy rain showers forcast !

Yep, correct. Actually none of the Brands stands have a roof. I got soaked in the paddock Hill stand for the WTCC in 2006. Now if I'm not trackside at an event I try to park on the southbank if it looks like rain is likely. I can then watch from my car!
