He is acting like he is MS or Senna! Senna commanded respect on circuit but not alot as a person, Falonso is trying to do that now. As for MS, he may have been German, nothing wrong with it, he is apparently a nice guy and did his talking in his car.

Oh yes! They maybe young but they are very talented, I hope it happens sooner rather than later, go on Falonso, do a Mike Thackwell, disappear and never come back! Shame about Thackwell though, he was destined to be great!

I suspect that if he hadn't behaved like he has over the last few seasons, he might have one or two more teams busily making room.

Unfortunately I reckon he might have shown himself as a liability.

the interesting bit of that article is what monte said about the circuits. "Kimi is motivated and we must work to put him in the conditions to start races nearer the front, especially on these new circuits which I don't like and are bad for F1: you can't overtake on them, and nine times out of ten the man on pole wins."

Yeah, like winning two WCs. Don't fool yourself; most of the teams, with the exception of Mclaren, would have him if they could.

My money is on Honda. Once he is there Ross might be able to convince him to stay. Say what you like but he was one of the few people who beat Schumi.

Agreed with the comment- most teams will have him.

He has acted badly over the last two years, but I think alot of that was talked up by British media- he was not that bad.

Besides- given the right car he could blow the doors of most drivers including Hamilton.

He only missed out last year by two points considering all the pressure he put himself under.

Waste of time watching him in the Renault.

F1 needs competition and the current crop of Hamilton Vs Massa is not cutting it.
F1 needs Kimi, Kubica, Alonso to be uo there with Hamilton Massa.

Vettel is looking good for the future

I really rated him before last season, one of my best days at a Grand Prix was spent at Imola, San Marino GP a couple of years back watching him beat Schumacher in Ferrari territory. Watching his antics last year really saddened me, especially what he did in Hungary.

I am a Hamilton fan, but to not rate Alonso has a top class driver is comical.

I dont respect him like I did Schuey- he was a great team leader and driver. Alonso still knows how drive quickly & Ferrari, BMW hopefully snap him up when space permits.

I'd say when a double world champion gets humiliated by his team mate who is an F1 rookie in his first season, he's been soundly beaten. Hamilton outqualified him and finished ahead of him in the drivers championship as he won more races. Did anyone ever do that to Schumacher? I think not.

"Given the right car"...which would be one that is inherently much faster than Hamilton's?

I'd agree that Alonso is a great driver, with an admirable fighting attitude.
On the other hand, trying to blackmail your team principal is not on, ever. There was no excuse for that - especially since his purpose was only to be gifted an advantage over his teammate that he had failed to earn on the track.

With the new KERS regs, Honda with Ross Brawn is potentially a very schrewd move by the "spantard".

If the highest paid Ferrari driver was outperforming the lower paid one, he would be in Ferrari next year.
