How much do ITV want to show the rest of the season?
Discussion
Sorry if this has been covered before, too many threads to read!
ITV relinquish the rights to F1 coverage at the end of the season. By all accounts they let it go, so they're probably not too bothered about showing it.
So there's possibly space for leverage here. How about an email campaign to get them to reduce coverage to the bare minimum (ie: on a minor channel) or even pull out of their contract? Assume the latter would have big penalty fees knowing Bernie but anything to p*ss him and Max off would surely be a good thing.
All it needs is a chain email (I know, I know but it's a good cause) along the lines of "Following the disgraceful events in Belgium, I am no longer prepared to follow a sport that is effectively rigged." If they get enough (and all may take is for 5 friends of a PH'er plus similar campaigns on a few choice forums) and we all actually boycott Monza, the average live figures are around 5m, perhaps there's a chance they'll worry about the advertising revenue?
Could be pie in the sky but for a few minutes work it's got to be better than spending the time arguing on line?

We will be up to 30 threads on this soon.ITV relinquish the rights to F1 coverage at the end of the season. By all accounts they let it go, so they're probably not too bothered about showing it.

I think I might start a few.
ITV exist to give profit to their owners.
This is derived from advertising.
After all this publicity the viewing for Monza will be well up.
So ITV will make a lot more money for their owners.
And you expect them to throw it away!!
