Lewis - Spank 'em in Monza

For me and the rest of the F1 fraternity.

I so sincerely want Lewis Hamiton to spank Ferrari in their own back yard, with no laughable politics colouring the sport, in Italy in front of a mass their blinkered fans.

The only Red things I want to see is Italian faces - either embarresment or Fury as our man does the business and wipes the floor.

I'm no Ferrari hater - I just want some balance back in the sport after the Spa debacle.

It'll be an uphill struggle. Both Ferraris will have new engines for Monza. KR will be watching FM's back and keeping LH well away from it.

Suggested Ferrari strategy:

Min fuel both drivers to out-qualify LH and HK. At the start FM gets away and KR holds up the rest of the field sufficiently that FM gets enough of a lead that he can't be beaten. I'm sure the Pope is having a chat with 'him upstairs' to keep the rainclouds away.

And I heard the Ferrari are retro fitting a 3.0 V10 for Monza

I still think McLaren should paint the car red for Monza as a form of 'subtle' up yours to Ferrari and the decision makers...

Monza has a lot of heavy kerbs, which tend to favour the McLaren.

As with Spa, track temp will have a lot to do with the relative speed of the two cars.

If the stewards are consistent (bear with me) then there should be LOADS of those 25 sec penalties handed out with those first 2 tight chicanes. As soon as a few cars scamper accross that 1st chicane on the opening lap we'll all be up shouting 'wheres the penalty!?'

although the supporters are red, monza is a mclaren track - it suits their car better. would be good for lewis just to rise above this crap and stick it in 1st.

Not only would I like to see a Maclaren 1-2 in Monza I would like to see Lewis win the Drivers championship and then make a formal statement to the effect that the FIA are a complete bunch of s and that he and the whole Maclaren team are off to Indycar or something else.

They should then leave giving Bernie and Max the finger

It would be a publc slap in the face for the FIA and a major team walking might prompt a few others to walk too.

Also Lewis/Maclaren winning another championship as well as F1, as Mansell did, would be cool.

Under the current situation, where Ron gets punished what ever he does what should he do?

I would be inclined to think " fk this I'm off"
