a drivethrough can't be appealed yet a 10 place grid penalty for the next race can? Am I caught up in conspiracy theories so much that I see this or could it really be true that this is the reason they decided on the penalty they did? Makes you wonder

McLaren appeal is going through, so that can't be the reason.

This has been covered before in some of the 30 odd threads running here on the subject.

Do the mods here have a thread merge function they can use?

Well it's rather telling that you're more than happy to have a go at any pro-Hamilton threads for being superfluous yet defend any of the anti-Hamilton ones.

I'd suggest that you'd be better off sending your application directly to the FIA or hanging around Soho rather than jumping up and down for attention on a forum that is, the last time I checked, for fans of motorsport.

I have said before that Hamilton deserved to win and should not have had his points deducted.
How much clearer do you want me to be?
As for hanging round Soho, why not? Some excellent eating and drinking houses there.

And the FIA have, for me, lost their way.
We need a total fuel per race formula, with the amount reducing each year. And open engine regulations. To encourage innovation that is more relevant to the real world.
And open tyre competition to encourage lower rolling resistance research.

Well I've been through all the smilies and I can't find one for 'relentness and pointless arguing ruining the thread'.

Therefore, please can we stop all this relentness and pointless arguing ruining the thread. Please.
