So the guy who will represent the teams to the FIA is a Ferrari man?

He should fit in nicely then with a World Motor Sport Council comprising of, amongst others, Deputy-President: Marco Piccinini (ex Ferrari Sporting Director), Constructors Representative: Jean Todt (ex Ferrari Sporting Director) and President CIK: Luigi Macaluso (close personal friend of Piero Lardi-Ferrari, Ferrari F1 sponsor and producer of the Ferrari branded Girard-Perregaux watch).

But no, I really DO love those red cars.

It does not tell us who actually elected him, my guess would be the F1 teams as it it the teams he is representing.

As he is representing the association, it would be the association who chose him.
