All the drivers mention Lewis NOT giving the place back? What race are they watching or does giving the place back mean giving 5metres? 10metres? 100Metres? It does seem strange that the drivers agree with penalty but it will be interesting to see how many times this rule is broken from now to the end of the season and how many drivers will get the same time penalty.

But 5% does have a point. The F1 drivers are at the pinnacle of the sport, both in terms of technical ability and in terms of knowing what is 'actually' going on. If a group of LH fans on a forum claim the drivers are all 'wrs', they know better, LH is right and the other drivers are all wrong, it does come across as a bit blinkered or 'fanboy'.

A tiny amount of objectivity would go a long way on PH these days.

So most other drivers think LH was in the wrong? Well that BBC article just quotes Trulli and Bourdais. That'll be the Bourdais who drives for Torro Rosso who just happen to use Ferrari engines. Then there's Alonso who obviously has no axe to grind and we've also heard Massa's views on the subject and of course he has no vested interest either . Not sure what Trulli's issue is and has any other driver said anything? If they have I must have missed it.
