Seriously though, what do we see in the future for Nico Rosberg?

There's no doubt he's a great driver, but he seems to be stuck in a car that might see him 'doing a Button' where a lack of decent equipment dictates a poor selection of race seats to choose from because of a lack of results.

Or, do we think that next year's regulations that appear to be putting more of an emphasis on chassis design rather than aero cash will (finally) see the resurgence of Williams that many (or was it just me?) have been predicting for the last few years, putting Nico firmly in the title hunt for 09?

The third option I guess is a move to another team, but there doesn't seem to be many open doors at the moment. Now we know Massa and Kimi will be at Ferrari it seems unlikely that a position at BMW would be opening up (with Kubica replacing Massa) and, presumably, McMerc will be keeping both LH and HK - so he's kinda stuck at Grove for the time being.

What do we reckon?

I don't think anyone will want him, so he'll stay at Williams and maybe get on the podium every now and then.
He's far too busy doing adverts for shaving, hair products, watches etc to be a World Champion, but having said that, if he was in a good car, he would be a good driver

So at the moment he's a bad driver in a bad car?

I think he's got enough talent to stay in F1, but can't see him making huge progress any time soon. I stand ready to eat my words...
