I normally go all three days, but this year I went to Rallyday (Sat) and missed Friday due to work commitments, however today was fantastic!

Does anyone know what happened at the chicane, where an old GP car rolled? Was it Mass?

There is no info, but I was hoping whoever it was that they were ok?

A old Austin (I think?) saloon rolled at the chicane on Saturday afternoon - driver ok as far as I know.

It was a Ferrari no 14 I think,unsure of driver he went off in an ambulance,it happend right in front of me

He rolled as said and was taken to hospital, I dont have any direct info re his condition but other sites indicate that marshall gave a thumbs up? hopefully he is OK

The RAC TT race was brilliant!! Loved every second of it (even the safety car laps).

Enjoyed the TT and the saloons and the bikes but thought the rest of Sunday was a bit disorganised compared with previous years. And Lord March's tribute before the TT, and the extended prayers, and the dreadful rendition of Jerusalem (again!) was soooooo OTT that I found it embarrassing. The party of posh Germans that stood next to us at Lavant were highly bemused by the long list being read out and the TT starting some 50 minutes late. After missing last year as we thought it was getting very formulaic and samey, going back yesterday has convinced me that it will be the Spa historic meet next year.

And the catering was crap too - poor quality compared with previous years and the tea shoppe ran out of milk on Sunday afternoon!!!!

And did anyone see the Vulcan - I was down at Lavant at 13.50 and thought I heard a jet but saw nothing.

The Vulcan was cancelled on Friday due to an impending engine change...

And just because she's Lord March's sister, that bloody woman should not be allowed to sing in public, ever. I thought last year was a one-off, but they let her squawk her way through Jerusalem again this year...

Who's bright idea was it to let that vicar loose, and lead us all in prayers for hours on end... Oh dear!

The racing, flying, atmosphere and organisation were all top notch apart from that!

Great day (Sunday).

Food: I thought the pies looked good, but didn't have one as we took a picnic. Salmon and cucumber, cheese and tomato, fruit cake, victoria sandwich and jammie dodgers, flask of tea. If you do things properly there isn't a problem.

Prayers: Yes a little too long but ultimately it was a tribute to "The Few" so to complain is churlish.

Singer: Well I suppose she nags him and it is his garden.

Germans: Were you on the infield a Lavent? There were some sitting near me, I wondered how they got in, well the blokes anyway. The women were quite shagable!

Kind of ironic that the priest started his reading with the quote of a British TV commentator saying 'What the "£$" are they doing this for?' in relation to a prayer on TV. Now a bunch of Brits at Goodwood are saying 'What the "£$! are they doing this for?'

Hopefully you stayed for the Whitsun Trophy race, our McLaren went from 20th to 2nd after breaking the driveshaft in qualifying on the 4th lap whilst bedding the brakes in, so hadn't set a representative time. Roger drove an awesome race i thought.

That used to be known as "sandbagging" in the old days!

Terrific race though, as were all the others I saw too.

You don't smash your damper and driveshaft to pieces to do that, especially when you've only sat in the car once before and you are up against that quality of race entry. (even in the old days they weren't that daft. )

Yes he was setting PBs lap after lap when being pushed by Bellm and kept his nose clean while everybody else was going off in the oil. Made a couple of passes post-safety car. Great job (and to you John)!

Thanks, was a busy weekend with the repairs etc. We also ran John Cleland and Rod Adlington in the St Mary's, they had a great time.
