problem from what i can see is appart from brawn who else is particularly great in the design team?No idea who the design team are but it doesn't necessarily need a "name" to deliver a fast car.
It does need a significant lack of meddling from Head Office, though, and that as far as I understand it is what the problem at Honda is.
The management in Japan will not leave the F1 team to get on with it.

I think Honda may be in a better position next year than in previous years.
Firstly they seem to be ahead of the pack with KERS development, they have the system installed in a dummy car and claim that it works. Reliablilty of KERS will be important and as Honda have a working system they should be able to do more testing which will benefit reliablity.
Also the aero problem they have with the current car will be reset with the new aero rules which effectively take the cars back to a baseline.
They seem to have abandoned the current car in favor of developing next years car which will have been managed by Brawn who will hopefully make better use of Honda's large budget.
I dont think that Alonso will move to Honda, but Brawn has to be seen to be chasing the best avalable drivers.
