with regret selling my tuscan racecar

been trying to do all the bits and pieces and organise everything for the tvr race on the 11th but too many important issues preventing me.....am gutted was really looking forward to it
Decided to sell the car now and look at whats available early next year.....when i can commit fully to a full season of racing...
have put the car on PH (RACE CARS/MOTORSPORT) classsifieds but if anyone knows someone for the car would appreciate you letting me know.

Shame it's being sold but from your profile pic look very original. Assuming you aren't the original owner, do you know who was...? (ie: Who it was built for and when).

The car was bought by phil keen (not the later driver in mid 90s) a banker who raced in 1989 (car no 99 black) from tvr. stored whilst iraq war was on ( he was in kuwait and it stopped him racing!) and then made into 2 seater and sold.stored again! used for a couple of hillclimbs and stored again!
done very little competition so goldline rod end bushes/chassis etc excellent!
All original bodywork/engine etc..including larger passenger door ,no aero just as produced in 1989.
Must be the only one left like that ,other than a couple of road converted cars maybe.
As the series is 20 next year would have been nice to show an original type body versus a modern ajp car side by side but....it will be another "i wish i had kept it !"

No problem...is that the superfast black one (car not driver !!)
after oulton test with no set up or brake balance the car will easily do sub 2 min laps so im sure 1.55 probable sort of times,which i think would be acceptable in class b...especially if there was no aero

yes it would be an awesome hotlap car for customers.....doesnt excite me too much as thats what i do for a living.....round and round .....lol....would be interesting at traffic lights the old bus though hehe

Thanks - all interesting stuff. Am I right in thinking it was black with sort or red "piping" round the egdges like a Batmobile...? (I know that sounds stupid, but there was deffo a car like that).
