Which would mean no North American presence next year....the problem with playing politics is when someone calls Bernie's bluff. The last chap to do that was representing that side of the Atlantic and the Long Beach GP has done rather well post-F1.

That would be a real shame, not a classic circuit by any stretch but easily the best F1 event I've attended.

They'd need to spend some money on a better track surface or it'll break up even more than it did this year and for a circuit rarely used I'm sure it's not really financially viable.

Bernie likes his street circuits at the moment and there's plenty of those in Canada and the USA where CART/Champcar have run. Trois Rivieres, Toronto, Vancouver or Edmonton. Would even been nice to see it back at Mosport but that would need some serious upgrading.
