If there were yellow flags you would expect the drivers to slow down enough to avoid an accident, especially as two cars got past before the crash.

Or there could have been other reasons, like fluids on the track.

It seems that there was one driver not paying enough attention to yellow flags... No doubt he was de-briefed by the clerk of the course following the visit to the med centre. Very lucky that no-one was seriously injured..

managed to miss this and paul radisich's smack in the dealer team holden today aswell, he is ok but broken an ankle and is currently based in orange hospital which is about a 5 minute walk away from where i am currently!

did see one a nasty smack in the development series today between skyline and the esses when one chap spun, only to rejoin the race in the path of a car moving at full race speed getting t-boned hard. very poor marshalling, they also didn't go and check on the guy who hit the car who took about 3-4 mins to start moving in the car, instead focusing on the guy who caused the accident who was fine in the car just a bit annoyed with himself.

Agreed, its asimilar incident, fortunately without the tragic consequences. If it is the same corner its a long way further round (though I'm no Bathurst expert)

sorry but.. thats the funniest thing i've heard in a while...


typical driver behavour i see while waving a yellow flag is for the drivers to give me a wave to say they've acknowleged they've seen it... but very little actual slowing down happens.

It's on a blind corner, he pretty much had no chance of seeing it and I don't know if any flags were shown or if he saw any
