Oulton - The Final Race

I would have thought that the majority of the Tuscan Challenge drivers will have sore heads this morning after their celebratory evening last night.
This message is basically to thank you all for getting out there, whether or not you are part of a team, or as I have witnessed there with your trusted mechanic, timer etc etc. Its been a great Season and yesterday at Oulton has to be one of the best races (that I have been to). Great to see the Sags back with Mr Hood sneaking back into the saddle!
Well done to all and I trust 2009 will be even better and with bigger grids as I am sure you have all done what you can to enthuse the general public.
The paddock is a friendly place and everyone is willing to help out their fellow drivers to get their car on the track by whatever means are available.
Many congratulations to Deano for winning the Championship. I am sure Liz and all Dean's friends were all delighted, as well of course, Teamwrightracing are. Well done to the Team for their efforts in their driving capabilities and for working on one of the Team's cars well into Friday night.
Finally, many congratulations to Marc for his fantastic driving yesterday and winning the race. Proud Dad, Tony, running all over the pitwall with excitement!

Brilliant days viewing - thanks chaps. 
Marc, that Tuscan looked so bloody fast standing near deer leap watching it head down past the start/finish straight. Well, they all did to be fair.
Got some great footage on my video and managed to catch the blue Tuscan that span at cascades and just managed to crawl back out of the gravel.
Unlucky for Mick Holden at the start of race two. I know it's no consolation but that Wedge sounded awesome in Race one.

Enjoyable to watch and closely fought, congrats to Marc who visibly had the edge, and Dulford's engine was singing rather well
Excess speed being shed on entry to Cascades in creative ways from several racers was entertaining!
From a Sprint/Hillclimb perspective, the 'traffic' is by far the hairiest aspect; huge commiserations to Cliff & team.

An excellent day ,great drivers, forgot how good the racing is, back out with the Tivvers.

BTW I have a quantity of genuine Cheshire gravel for sale ,handy for driveways, garden features etc

I was fine till after my second heat in the go karts.. Got out the kart and got a blinding headache that i've still Got now !!!!

I will be sending a CD of pics in for Sprint and I'll get some of them on Webshots when I get time (over 1000 pictures from the day to sort out).
If you pm me an address I can send you a CD of the pictures of your car.
The S3rbera is still in my garage I just need the funds to run it. If my new job works out I might do a few races next year. If not I'll be behind the camera again.
