That in an era of electronic launch control there were cars stalling on the grid / blowing up on the grid in every race yet since its banning and the drivers having to use manual clutches I cant remember a single one? surely pressing buttons is easier than slipping a clutch off the line? no?

soz - it ocurred to me last night. F1 - it used to be that stalling on the grid was very common but doesnt happen at all now. just wondered why!

I don't recall cars blowing up or stalling on the grid at every race when electronic launch control was used, nor do I remember a massive reduction of those things coinciding with the banning of electronic launch control. However, it may be that the frequency of those things has gradually reduced over recent years due to improved technology.
