Marlboro and Ferrari

Just been noticing those red and white rectangular logos on the Ferraris and their team personnel, are they supposed to make us think Marlboro, and do Marlboro have any sponsorship tie up with Ferrari ? Or can the logo be digitally altered to show the name in certain countries.

The sole point is for people to associate Marlboro with Ferrari, in defiance of the ban in the EU and many other countries on tobacco advertising.
In fact, Philip Morris (owner of Marlboro) pay for the rights to the entire advertising space on the Ferrari car and drivers' uniforms. They then cut their own deals with subsidiary sponsors for pieces of the car.
