I would like to see and think we could potentially see Hamilton show the same unstoppable pace as today and walk home with it.


Alternatively I see something along the lines of:

1) Massa
2) Kimi
3) Kubica
4) Alonso
5) Hamilton
6) Heikki (maybe having given up 5th place)

I can't. Kimi's always seems a fair and honest chap to me and something like that would be out of character. And I'd say the same thing about Massa as well, or at least doing it deliberately. I think the Senna/Prost/MScumacher x2 days are over.

I said very much the same in an earlier post on another thread. I believe Kimi is a fair and decent driver and would not countenance such a move. In the normal scheme of things neither would Massa, but in the spur of the moment he might, just as he seemed to do in Japan.

But I'm fully expecting everyone to behave themselves.

Joking aside, personally i think there will be too much scrutiny on the race for Alonso or Kimi to blatantly take Hamilton out and to be honest i don't think Kimi is that kind of driver..

I think if Massa holds his nerve then he will be very strong in Brazil but i doubt Hamilton will finish lower than 4th.

If anyone has a right to moan about Hamilton's driving this year it's Kimi. If Raikkonen hadn't been completely awake in Japan he could have taken Lewis out at the first corner (and most of the rest of the grid), but he didn't and he won't and he doesn't complain.
I expect Kimi to show Massa the way home as with the last race and gift him the place late on (shades of Mika Salo and Eddie in '99), then it's up to Hamilton (and McLaren) not to blow it.....

If Alonso takes out Hamilton and Massa consequently wins the race and therefore the title there could surely be no comeback on Ferrari unless they were somehow proven to be in cahoots, and I don't think they would be that silly. Stranger things may have happened but I can't recall when.

As far as I recall, Interlagos isn't a good overtaking circuit. Therefore unless something happens in turn 1, I don't think anybody will get close enough to anybody else for a deliberate punt to happen, unless it is very blatent.

I think the main focus will be on qualifying. Lewis will want to get on pole, lead it from the front and keep out of trouble. All Massa can do is go out and try and win it to get maximum points and hope Lewis doesn't get enough.

However, where as Massa will want the optimum strategy to ensure best overall race pace, Lewis can afford to go light in qualy, get on pole and a clean start and then manage the race from there. He may need to pit a bit early, but at least he'll be out of the first corner chaos.
