I don't want to invoke yet another are the FIA biased ruckus, but Ferrari do usually fall into line behind the governing body and when you have Monte saying that new circuits (Singapore methinks) are "just there for show" and “[the lack of a US GP] is a problem that must be dealt with seriously by Ecclestone,” he insisted. “Formula 1 is a global sport and we must be in North America.” you have to wonder how much longer the manufacturers are going to stick with F1.

I read that Di M had said recently, using a football anology, that he hoped for a late penalty to decide things in their favour in Brazil.

That sounds suspiciously like holding his hand out, especially when combined with some generalised recent critique of the FIA.
