Well not long to go now. I`ll bet the lad didn`t get a whole lot of sleep last night.
Desperately hope Lewis wins the championship, not just because he`s our boy but because if he doesn`t all the talk will be of the FIA`s decisions this season and the sport will suffer as a result.
The FIA has shown it`s self in a diabolical light during 2008 and needs to do a lot of hard thinking in the off season. If Lewis does win then at least their blunders won`t have influenced the overall results.

Bloody hell !
At least all the FIA's nonsense this year didn't influence the final results. I would have been very bitter had Lewis missed out. In my mind were it not for those incredible descisions Massa wouldn't have been in with a shout. In many ways he and the people of Brazil are the victims of the FIA's bungled attempts this year for giving them false hope.
My one wish for 2009 is to see a season where races are won and lost on the track and the
spectators are treated to the thrilling spectacle the current drivers are clearly capable of delivering. A new season will bring renewed strength throughout the pack as teams who were lacking this year bring new cars to the table.
I can't think of a season in recent memory that produced such thrilling racing in f1. Please build on that FIA, don't kill it off and try to steralise the sport.
For now though let us celebrate with Lewis, a young man with the pride of a nation on his shoulders.
