This just in:
After reviewing the drop in pace by Glock on the last lap stewards have issued a post race penalty. In a statement they said it is clear to them that Glock violated a rule by not coming in for rain tires (although that can't remember which rule), which resulted in Glock being slower on the last lap for lack of grip, which resulted in Hamilton being able to take the position and secure the world championship. In a not so surprising twist however, the actually penalty will be handed down to Hamilton, since he was the beneficiary of the supposed rule violation. Hamilton's finish position at Interlagos has been readjusted by 23 spots to reflect this penalty. With Hamilton now showing a finish of 28th, he loses the WC points and the title is handed to Massa.
When stewards were questioned how it was possible that Hamilton could actually finish in 28th position, even though there are not enough cars to justify, they responded that they are just doing their job's.
Coulthard summed up the penalty on his blog by saying that while Hamilton is sometimes a decent driver, the fact that he took a position away from a slower car struggling for grip was very dangerous to the safety of not only all the other [race car] drivers but also the fans seated on the front straight grandstands.
Post race Alonso was seen wearing a t-shirt under his drivers suit promoting the website "www.pinchalaruedadehamilton.co m", which invited visitors to try and do voodoo magic to keep Hamilton from finishing the Interlagos GP.
Massa will be throwing a "I Was Handed the WC" party, with guests including the Interlagos GP stewards, Bernie, Kimster (of course) and Alonso. Apparently Hamilton is not invited...

Whilst that may have been the well established policy, it doesn't square terribly well with the speed that statements are issued from Paris when something negative happens and they want to stick their oar in...Still, if they always keep schtum til the awards, fair enough!
