HELP!!! I WANT TO RACE MY TRACK CAR!!

Hi Guys,
excuse the dramatic subject but we have an e36 M3 Evolution stripped and ready to race. We have had many trackdays in it but want to get some of that racing prowess out of us now.
Apart from Kumho and Britcar, does anyone know of any "low budget" race series out there?
We are based in Bristol but could travel upto 100 miles..
any advice would be appreciates - APART from the the usual car abuse stuff like.. ""huhuh buy a better car" you know who you are!

IIRC, you're M3 isn't eligable (no M-models)
And you'd get blitzed by the 1000000hp Evo's.

Or if you fancy running along the M4 to Brands/Lydden, etc... there's the BARC-SE Dunlop Motoring News Saloons (what a gobful!)
A friendly bunch, and very cost effective.
Even ran the Thunder Saloon Belmont in it a couple of years ago, and may well run in there again, so mind yer mirrors, and keep yer elbows in if I start from the back - which I have a habit of doing with all of the teething troubles I had with it!

It's not racing, more like F1 qualifying (you are trying to put in your fastest lap time - fastest is the winner) - but you're all out on track at the same time (up to 30 cars) and it's run on prestigious circuits around the UK. The banter between competitors is great and everyone helps when you have any problems.
I think it's very competitively priced for what you get too - if you qualify for the finals then you get 4 x 20 minute sessions at each event. The cost is circa £200 per event (6 of them) and will more than likely have to be paid up front at the start of the season.

sprints? you can run two drivers to share the costs and if you dont want to travel more than 100 miles from bristol, the ASWMC championship would be ideal. some good venues, yeah its expesnive for the track time but that is mitigated by the reduced chance of someone hammering into the back of you...

yeah thats right, i called CC yesterday and they said that the evo isnt eligible to race in their series, how annoying.
However i found out that the castle coombe races are only about 15 MINUTES in length. so a little lame if im honest.
I Think were going to have to either look at the LMA Eurosaloons or do trackdays and develop the car and some sponsorship for a year or so.
