The works GT2 Corvette is already testing. P&M will be in GT2 in ALMS after Le Mans, as that's the last race for their GT1 cars.
Aston don't run as a factory outside LM and they're already ramping up their GT2 programme.
GT1 is dead, apart from FFSA and FIA GT, which is a shame but kind of inevitable. There'll be new GT1 regs soon too, which will spell the end for the current cars.

So does that mean only three class's at Le Mans? What are the new regs?

More competition. Corvette has only had Prodrive (occasionally) to compete against in ALMS for years now, while the GT2 battle has raged between Ferrari, Porsche, Panoz and, this year, Ford GTs, a Viper, a private Corvette, the Barwell Aston and, in '09, the return of the works BMWs.It also opens up a huge potential customer base for them. That's not why they go racing, of course, but it all helps.
so in future the fia gt championship is the only place to see gt1? the main reason i go to LM is for the GT1's 
Real shame about this. I fell in love with GT1 on seeing the McLaren F1GTRs in the BPR series. However, the category may well survive in the FIA series and, in fairness we have stronger LMP1, LMP2, and GT2 grids than ever before. And the GT3 rules are working in Europe and domestically. Every cloud, etc.
