Ok, had a long debate in the pub tonight. Make a track out of all the best elements of UK cicuits.

I had: The long straight at Snet followed by Copse, then Cooper straight, Craner Curves, fist corner at Cadwell, straight, Paddock Hill bend, staight, Bridge, Bombhole/Coram, straight, Clearways, Druids (Brands), wooded section (Cadwell), back on to start finish....

Have a ago....

What about the corkscrew at Anglesey - however I'd just take all of the Coastal circuit at Anglesey.

I'd replace the long Snetterton straight in your circuit with the Pilgrims Drop straight from Brands GP and I think you need something between Clearways and Druids. One reason Clearways is so crucial is because it leads onto the pit straight.

I'd include the section of Croft through the Esses, Sunny in and Sunny out, which is great fun.

I was going to say that. frown It's on my "must do a track day there" list.

Elevation changes, fast sections with sweeping curves, hairpins. Ummmm...

Even more fun if you go into the Jim Clark Esses a bit too fast... whistle

Forget all the clever mix and match stuff, just add a couple feet of width and some extra runoff to Cadwell so the bigger/faster stuff can run a bit more comfortably and the jobs done....

Although come to think of it if we could somehow shoehorn Paddock Hill (including the compression at the bottom) in there that would be nice :-)

Oulton Park is incredible - I love that circuit. The last two bends section of that course is mega, I love the way the final bends feels as though it's going to spit you into the pitwall!

Although, if we're taking the best bits, can I ask for the old Dingle Dell chicane from Brands, please?

Someone posted a vid of that place in another thread a long time back.

Am I the only one here who doesn't relish long straights? I always view them only as an opportunity to relax a bit, wiggle my fingers around and check all the dials. smile
