Sunseeker Rallye - working advice

Hi

Ive just found out that I have got a position voluntarily helping the saftey marshal at the Sunseeker Rallye in Bournemouth. I was just wondering if anyone had experience of this and would be able to tell me what this may involve as although i have been to rallyes it has only ever been as a spectator.

You'll be given a nice yellow jacket and you'll stand in the cold all day directing people to the car-park.

Yep they do, hopefully i wont be just directing traffic as the place is through my uni and im doing a leisure marketing degree which includes events so each organiser of the rally has had someone who voluntered alloted to help them directly.
