Much as I admire McLaren, they were just not the right team for him, I recon Redbull or Torro Rosso would have been a better fit.

Monty was fantastic in Indycar, the finish of the Michighan 500 was one of the best races I've ever watched.

I had the misfortune to sit at the next table to him in a restaurant when he drove for Williams. Spoilt, Arrogant and ahole are words that come to mind. He treated everyone like st!

How exactly? To me it shows he wasnt afraid to take the fight to Schumacher, if anything Schumachers move in Brazil is more "Twunt" like...

I liked Montoya, as said above, he had a personality instead of being an empty cylinder with no opinion (just in case he offended someone) like the rest of them in F1.

He didn't achieve a huge amount, sulked alot, moved to an even bigger circus than F1 and then when at a safe distance started throwing abuse at everyone and F1.

He wasn't as good as Schumi and he couldn't take it, for me, he bottled it.

hes had his fare share of pushing and shoving in Nascar , seems to be the only open wheeler to stick it out in stock car racing , top 15 to 20 kind of racer in this series but he does have the drive to win and take chances , i respect him for that , he might do better moving from Dodge to Ford or Chevy if he wants to be a player.

I think Montoya had the potential to be as good as Schumie, he just couldnt sustain it like Michael could, which is what make champions like Michael... They can just keep doing it!

I love Montoya, i follow him in the Nascar which is he isnt doing a too bad job, few races he could of won or top 3 he's been involved in crashes that where not his doing

I do like NASCAR - taken me a while to tune into it though. 850bhp trick "Small Blocks" in Silouette cars - NICE.

Sam Hornish and AJ Almendinger haven't been too shabby either.
Ganassis are expected to merge (have already merged?) with Dale Earnhardt Enterprises and are expected to ditch the Dodges - although they really hooked Montoya's car up during the Chase. If they can carry that form into 2009, an oval win could be on the cards.
