Personal prejudice (of course!) but I was always a huge fan of Tony Pond and I'd move him higher up the list. He drove a wide variety of cars but always tried to stay with a British product, which I guess held him back from the success he might otherwise have had, but phenomenal car control and total commitment, always. So far as I recall, always the fastest guy in whatever type of car he was driving, including the TR7 V8s and Metro 6R4s. RIP!
