And it's likely that if Raikkonen has another season like this year's he may be shown the door at the end of 2009, so Alonso may only have to wait one year.

Doubt it. I think Rallying/Ice hockey is more likely- he is far to proud to be kicked out of Ferrari, and go back to his old team.

Then Alonso will have to wait until 2011, to either replace Raikkonen or Massa, depending who is performing betterat the time.

I suspect though that Kimi's heart is no longer in it. In the second half of this season he definitely looked like he'd rather be in a bar somewhere, and also admitted that he is not enjoying F1.

However, is it that he's not enjoyinf F1, or not enjoying life at Ferrari? To me he's always looked out of place there. Maybe Renault would snap him up if he left?

As it's been said, doubt it. But Kimi and Lewis would be a great combination on the track
