Tom Onslow-Cole Where is he now?

I've been looking on autosport recently and noticing a few drivers moving here and there in the BTCC. I noticed today VX racing have signed Andrew Jordan for the third seat for this season alongside Matt Neal and Giovanardi. Does anyone know where Tom has gone?

I wondered the same thing. He did a great job last year from what I saw. I was more impressed with T O-C than with Matt Neal.

I thought he performed well last season. Going against two highly experienced drivers. He didn't seem 'as' aggressive in the way of knocking people off the circuit as those pair were aswell.

Its quite simple. He did'nt have the money and Andrew did.

Cheers for that. I didn't think budget had much to do with it when it was a factory team. Fair play to Andrew though, seemed a very good driver last year. Would hope to see Mike involved in his career still.

Its a sad fact that the cost of competition now far outweighs pure hard headed commercial value of involvment. Its also a sad fact that the way the sport has gone means the manufacturers and private teams know they can get pretty handy drivers like Tom and Andrew who will bring money to boost the budget.

Its fairly easy to get a turn over of rapid young paying drivers which is where Touring cars is now at. Nothing wrong in that, its just pure supply and demand and since its so expensive to be involved anyway why not. After all they suddenly gain in status and credability so for most, its worth paying.

Very true. Money is what stops a lot racing, me included (kind of) Would just like to know if he's competing somewhere this year. Would be a shame if he wasn't, seemed a talented driver.

To be honest though, motor racing has _always_ been about having lots of money and losing it all
