Toyota Advertising Dig?

Saw the Avensis ad the other night, the one with the two guys sailing who get sprayed by the bow wave of a passing luxury yacht captained by an old guy with big glasses and nasty beady eyes surrounded by two or three rather tasty young ladies.

Anyone else seen it?

It finishes with the recipient of the dousing driving away from his sailing trip in his new Avensis and as he does so encounters the same small, miserable looking, vertically challenged, style-less glasses toting, bad haircut wearing, piggy eyed, ugly old tw4t walking toward a rather large puddle which he studiously avoids in his ultra responsive new Avensis, preventing pointless revenge for the earlier event and therefore gaining the moral highground.

Now, would it be safe to assume that the art director/advertising team responsible for the advert have never been influenced by various shenanigans in recent years in the upper echelons of motor sport and have been in no way influenced by a certain other small old man with lots of money?

There is a Cinema only version of the same advert where a VW beach buggy comes after the Avensis and does indeed splash the old guy.
