old f1 races on telly

Old f1 races on espn classic, usually around lunchtime on weekdays. Very good usually.

Had a look at the listings for next week - can't see any GPs.

Maybe it was a special week?

I used to have the whole '92 season on video (Mansell with comentary by Walker and Hunt!), but chucked the tapes out in the early '0's when I went off boring F1. Regret it now, not the same watching you tube.

Not sure if it was on the ESPN ch but I watched a prog on the practice day of the 65 Monaco GP & was amazed at the changes since then (tunnel part the most)

I have highlights of about 90% of GPs from 1983 to 2001 on VHS. I gave up in the latter part of the "Schumacher Era" because I found that F1 had indeed become less interesting and exciting.
