It's a new Adrian Newey car. The wings won't break because the car won't manage more than a lap before retiring in the first few GPs.

Looks like a Callaway Big Bertha driver to me...that's unlikely though...

Didn't some teams have these things last year too? Ballast weight? Sensors?

Unless it contains some previously undiscovered material, it seems unlikely that it could contain enough of anything to be useful as ballast.

It is not impossible that it is working as some sort of flow conditioner; even though it is supposed to be aerodynamically neutral in that area, I believe, its very existence could serve to stabilise airflow by attachment in some circumstances. Is that a vertical splitter mounted behind it?

The "marks" on the side appear to be some sort of striations or "combs", perhaps designed to encourage airflow attachment.

It is certainly not the mandatory camera: this page explains a little about positioning of that camera.

Its called a correvit. Its a laser used to measure the yaw of the car will on circuit

the suspension arm seems to be awfully close to the exhaust outlet.

I think those vanes, like the Ferrari mirror mounts and Toyota sidepod endplates, are in an area designated by the rules for the sidepods, so the 'no aero' rule doesn't apply in that part of the cars. Loophole-o-rama!

I guess it makes them look more down to earth and in touch with the people! The new image for F1 teams..

Looks like Newey has gone to town on this one! Certainly a very intricate design and vastly different in comparison to the other cars I've seen so far.

One thing that struck me was how compact and low the rear end is - look at the exhaust outlets! They're so much lower than any other car. They haven't followed Toyota or Williams on the diffuser, suprisingly.
