Even though I would like JPM winning this and so far put to good use his car which showed he never had the right team/car, I think Kyle Busch will dominate and probably go on to win the race

Rather than supporting either of them - two of the biggest thugs on the track - I'd rather see Martin or the Wood Brothers (Elliott) win.

Can someone confirm when the race is due to start? Daytona 500 website says 1h30 to green flag but Sky Sports website says live coverage at 8pm.

The "Daytona International Speedway" website:

says that the race itself will start 3:30 Florida time, which is 8:30 UK time.

Stewart has already wrecked his car in practice and will have to start from the rear with back-up car.

So many different drivers in different cars for differrent teams, sponsor swaps,etc. Could make a good if confusing race. jeff Burton in a CAT sponsored car is a bizzare one as when I first got into Nascar it was brother Ward in a Cat car. Tony Stewart switching from Home Depot to Office Depot, former sponsor of Carl Edwards. Mark Martin a Hendrick driver, I cannot take it!
One things for sure, the sport has had a major shake up this year. Looking forward to the race, the shootout and qually races were great. must be a good sign.
