Pre Season Powerlogger Test Day and Media Day

The date has been set for the pre-season powerlogger test day and media day for 12th March 2009.

This will be the official launch of the 2009 Britcar season ahead of the season opening races at Silverstone on the 28th March.

The day will be compulsory for registered entrants to the 2009 Britcar GT and Britcar Production Championships and will consist of runs up and down a straight track to gather aerodynamic and rolling resistance data for each car with which the powerloggers can determine bhp outputs during the season.

Precise details of the day will be sent out nearer to the time but will be held at Kemble airfield in Gloucester, the scene of straightline testing for a number of F1 teams from McLaren to Renault and Red Bull.

Not currently but we may need to reclassify vehicles as the season progresses.
