I would like to go to the meeting at silverstone on 28 March - but i can't really find much out. is there any sort of race card/pricing info you can give me?

Brilliant Race Weekend!!! Racing was superb, pits where as open and friendly as ever, to talk too people and get pictures of the cars. Apart from the freezing cold winds the racing couldn’t have been better, very close packs of cars and lots of over-taking within classes and good to see pretty much all of the field still there at the end of the race!

Was surprised at the start to see the red bull lotus and Azteca Porsche too be outpacing the Moslers and 911 RSR's. And even as the race went on they seemed miles ahead of their class rivals. But class one and two where very competitive, especially class two with the Ferraris and Porsches, very even and lots of good battles was great too watch! The white Mosler was a great sight outpacing everything in any corner or straight.

I hope the season stays like that as will certainly be at more events after Silverstone

This was all down to tyre choice both the lotus and Porsche were on slicks and nearly everyone else was on wets. At the time a gamble that paid of

A great start to the season with a big grid of interesting cars. Looks like it will be a great season.

As you all say a good start to the season (although bl**dy cold!) and some good close racing throughout the two hours in the GT category.

I couldn't believe how fast that Red Bull Exige S2 was! Does it have a standard engine under the bonnet?

Well done to the Carvell brothers on a superb debut 2nd place finish in their Jabba-boosted Seat Leon. They are competing on the frayed end of a broken shoestring budget this year, I hope they can make it to the end of the year. Great day, we are doing a couple of rounds later in the year in Class 2 Invitation, with a view to doing a full season next year.

We spent the day hanging round with BPM Motorsports to get a feel for how things work and were amazed at how helpful and willing to chat every body was.

Thanks to Owen, Matt and Ash at BPM, congrats on the result

Thank also to Guy Spurr and Mike Wilds for taking the time to chat to us even though they had a lot going on

I believe he works on the #49 N24.
