Official Australian GP 2009 Thread *** SPOILERS ***

Well it's under a week away now and the cars have started to arrive:

So I though it the right time to start a thread.

So after all the politics, testing, speculation etc. Saturday 28th March 2009 at 6am (UK time) we will be watching qualifying and the following day at 7am (UK time) we will have the first F1 race of 2009.
Disclaimer: the above times are from the BBC download to my Google calender, please check the times.

I know that first practice is on Friday (I think it's on the 'red button' if you have Sky) but I think qualifying is the first real indication of the cars real pace.

My feeling at the moment is that it's going to a very interesting season. Hope I'm not wrong!

i just hope that the brawn gp team have a good race, theyve worked bloody hard under some stty circumstances to get to this point, and all being well looks like they have built a good car.

Get in! After the first couple of rounds of world superbikes, im really looking forward to the new f1 season. Anyone for a multi car pile up into turn 1 a la brundle?

dont forget that its also the big final pre season motogp test on the sunday as well, live on eurosport (thank god), bbci and looped on monday on bbci as well

Indeed- I've heard rumours that some teams have not made front wings that are easy to replace.....

I hope we get some decent coverage in Aus of the full season. This coming weekend will pretty much be non-stop live F1 coverage from Thursday or Friday through to last thing on Sunday including the V8 supercars but then the rest of the season we get very little coverage at a sensible hour of the day...obviously the live race is always in the middle of the night but even the highlight shows are on at silly am.

Have been trying to get a forecast for the last 10 mins,but when i come to paste it,the line does'nt appear underneath the linky ,it usually works all the time,does anybody know what i'm doing wrong,getting really pi55ed off with it now.
