Hamilton V Steve McQueen
Discussion
I know Steve McQueen is actually dead and this is simply a mashup of Lewis and the Le Mans film, but any excuse to see the Gulf Porsche 917!

My vote is for McQueen.
Hamilton will cross the line first but will be disqualified for some fatuous and vindictive reason a week later.

good one. I would vote McQueen too but for the simple reason that the 917 would piss all over the MP4/24 on the Mulsanne, and the rear downforce, or rather lack of it, in the McLaren would give Steve the upper hand. Even if McLaren had got a good car, it still wouldn't be a match for a 917 down the Mulsanne.

Consider the rest of the lap and I'd say LH would walk it.

If you have the regular Monaco then I think 2k is a little overpriced

I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I never saw the movie Le Mans, but I redeem myself as I've just ordered it from play.com along with Bullitt, which I have seen but wanted it on DVD if only for that car chase. Got them for a fiver each, and they're both the 2 disc versions; not that I ever bother with the 2nd disc, but it was the same price for the 2 disc version as the single one.
