I don't mind so much the celebrity as such. I feel really sorry for Latvala - he went into the rally not even wanting to have split times relayed to him. I believe he was under strict orders from MWM not to stuff it or he's out. No pressure there then.
He seems such a nice bloke, perhaps he should adopt Mathew Wilsons approach and plod round, much as he did in T cars and F.Renault.....
Think he's just a bit keen at the mo. Just remember a similair situation with a certain Mr. Vatanen a few (lot) of years ago.
As Stuart Turner commented at the time, 'It's a lot easier to slow a driver down than to get him up to speed.'
Perhaps if the Focus was inherently a bit faster then Loeb would be easier to beat.
Question : Just how does Loeb do it? Amazing driver.
