Masters Historic Festival - Brands Hatch

Anyone know which day is best for racing action, Sunday 24th or Monday 25th May? I can't find programmes for the days.

BTW, for anyone thinking of going, this was the best day of motor racing I saw last year!

I tend to find 'Historics' events like this are a bit a gamble in terms of what day to go - do you go on the first day and accept you won't see much racing, but you *should* see all the cars, or do you go on the race day for that side of things, but accept that reliability issues have probably consigned a good few cars to the pits

FWIW, I agree that this event is well worth going to - a real variety of cars racing and it wasn't too busy the last time I went.

I went last year on Monday and got absolutely soaked! I think I'll go again this year though, Brands and historics are a great mix.

Cheers, that's exactly what I was looking for. Now I've got to weigh up more races on the Sunday versus seeing the F1 cars and sportscars twice on the Sunday (qualifying plus a race). It's a toughy! I think I'll go on the Sunday and if I haven't got my fill I'll go back on the Monday!

owing to the reliability of historics, i always worry that if i go to these sort of events on the last day, some stuff will have retired earlier in the weekend and be packed up on a trailer ready for home thus i tend to go to the first day of a two day event or at least one of the first two days of a three day event.
