I was hoping that someone may know where I can catch the race online on Sunday?

I am out in Baku, Azerbaijan and cannot access the BBC player as it is outside of the UK. Is there any other online providers?

Also, on the offchance someone may know of some Russian type channels, I may be able to get the telecomms guy on the rig to switch it over...a long shot I know

I know there are ways of watching the BBC iPlayer content outside the UK, perhaps these may work with the live player, not sure though. A little googling may turn up a few clues.

Watch it on local Tv, it great in a language you don't understand, I used to watch it in in Angola inPortugese, and didn't (because I didn't understand it) disagree with the comentator once, if I watch it in English I always end up shouting at the comentator.

Cannot check this as I am at work, but I belevie that you are not able to use the BBC I player as it recognises the fact that your ip address is outside of the UK.. could you try and use a proxy server?

I'm in Ukraine and coverage here is on K1 (or something like that?) not sure if it is Russian or Ukrainian in origin, commentary is in Russian

end up watching it and keeping an eye on PH, autosport, BBC and the live timings to work out what you can't see! The coverage cuts out fairly smartly after the race ends though!

Where's the BBC live player at?
