Tasmin Bits.............

Firstly, can I please apologise for spoiling the remainder of the first race when I ran out of talent at barn and also for my horrible attitude to people after my suspension collapsed in the second race. Bad day at the office.
Does anybody have rear alloy hub carriers (both), a front suspension (NS) tie rod, a rear off side light cover.
Any help will be gratefully received.

No worries Dave, everyone understands what you go through as a driver when you have a day like that.. TRUST ME I DO !! 
On the rear hub carriers, I'd look to replace them both with a later steel set.. I did tell howard to change them when he had the car.. When it was the tasmin challenge we hardly had a single race when someone with alloy rear hubs didnt break one.. you save maybe a kilo a side but not worth the risk imho.. you could break them on a road car t
tting a kerb !!!
I think the last lot of tie rods we used were slightly modified p100 units as that was waht we could find..
I'd try steve heath, Thorpy and dulford for the other bits...

d at the best of times Dave I don't think anyone took anything you said out of any context. I hope after a few beers and a good nights sleep a bit of perspective has returned.It was a damn site better to have that failure at a slow bend at Cadwell than 2 weeks time where a bigger concrete wall beckons.
Red gaffer tape for the body mate and a couple of new rear uprights will see you at Rock. worry about all the other bulls
t afterwards.Its only money. we can't take it with us
Give Geoff a ring I think he may have a RH rear carrier. I know I got 2 spares for him last year when his L/H one broke.

Got to say guys, you lot are all top class.
I spent yesterday with you taking pictures and helping (a bit) Andy Race. I was the idiot in the red beanie hat taking pictures with George. The amount you help each other out is a credit to you and a credit to the memory of Trevor Wilkinson.
Shame about the first race, glad to see no one had any serious injuries outside of the wallet. I was on the grass by the control tower for the start and have some shots of the chaos. I'm not sure I want to post them on here. If you want to see them please see the following link to a website I am trying out.

Don't worry dave tasmins are built like tanks. graham,cee jay,steve hall,and myself have all bent them in the past trying a just bit to hard in the old tasmin challenge. Chin up mate it gets much better 
the only trouble with many of the tasmins going 1 piece light front ends is that the original nose is built to pass usa crash testing so its built like several tanks !!!! Without that there is more chance of front suspension damage....Having said that though someone did manage to break the front of the chassis on mine and that was with the original nose !!!
Thanks for all the offers of bits and pieces. Looks like I'm now sorted as I am picking up a complete donor car tomorrow and a pair of steel hubs and arms tonight. They just need a bit of modding to include rose joints.
Hopefully I'll get it fixed before the Rock but the bodywork won't be pretty.

Well, I have most of the mechanical bits needed to fix the car and a shed load of fibre glass sheet and resin. Fibre Glasssing will hopefully be done on Friday and most of the mechanicals done over the weekend.
I now need Nitron to pull all the stops out and get two rear dampers and springs to me by Tuesday at the latest. I spoke to them last Monday and it wasn't a problem, unfortunately it now seems it might be.
Just in case they don't come through, does anybody have a spare set of rear Nitrons to fit a Tasmin that they can lend to me?
