On the back of this weekend, he seems to be sooo fast and hooked up in the wet. Hamilton is clearly very good and has in previous seasons done things with the car that most didn't think possible to do and still go so fast.
As my non expert wife pointed out to me, 'it seems a bit depressing to think that so much of the speed comes down to having a good car' What she was referring to was Button and Vettel on the up with Hamilton, Alonso etc low down..
They are all great drivers, some on the grid aren't but it just shows if you have a good car/bad car...

Had a chat last night with a mate of mine who knows a bit about F1 - so making him unique in my F1 group, I picked Trulli for seventh - and he reckoned that Hamilton, whom I criticised for spinning off quite frequently, drove a good race. The one stop tactic didn't do his tyres any favours and neither did pushing it on fullish tanks. But, as he said, what had he got to lose? At Silverstone last year he drove within his capabilities as he was risking 10 points. In China he was trying, perhaps, to double his points. He had to make up those points he 'lost' for third.
From what I read he was using slicks for the last 15 laps or so.
What did surprise me though was that no drivers were moving over to drive on the damp part of the track when a dry line strted to appear ('dyou remember that 15 seconds bit?).
Great drive by Vettel but how good is Webber?
I believe the likilhood of heavy rain is not that high for the next race so, one would assume, the Brawns will be in the ascendent.

I think that Webber is overrated. Justin Wilson would be a far better bet, he was quicker than Webber when they raced together.Vettel's drive was great, but not as great as Hamilton last year at Silverstone for me.

Have to say I think I agree with Bernie in this instance, Vettel has awesome natural talent and he's one of the good guys too. He might be in with a shout for the WDC this year. Let's hope he keeps his feet on the ground.

For sure (
) Hamilton is one of the better drivers on the grid, but he is not in the same class as Sebastian Vettel.Well, that's the hornets nest well and truly poked.
