Cadwell Hints /Tips and In Car

Sincerely hope the damaged cars/wallets get repaired soon , and that despite the incidents , everyone had a great weekend.

We're there this coming weekend ,and other than walking the track on Sat eve (no doubt-mildly pissed) i'll be learning the circuit in qually.

Naturaly , this leaves me quaking at the thought, and any footage/hints/tips from a Tivver racers perspective would be most welcome.

The basic tip for cadwell is to keep it on the tarmac, anything else will be expensive..

I think Andy race has some cadwell in car on the monster site, including a clip of me disapearing off the circuit on my own oil and in flames !!!

I've only done a track day there, as my race engine decided to eat itself, so could not make the race.
But would say you need the best part of a day to even start to learn the track correctly. the gooseneck is the bit you can make or loose a lot of time, you can take it a lot quicker than it looks. only problem is once you get this sorted you need to adjust for mansfield as your going a lot quicker.

If you have a PC and a good wheel, the Rfactor version of the track is quite good.

Thanks, i've checked out Andy's 2008 footage - need to watch it another ten times - initially i thought there was something wrong with the horizontal imaging on my pc monitor !

Then i realised the track really is That thin .
