Im looking more likely..Although with no testing and no running since Anglesey last year I dont expect to be on the pace and certainly not with my 3 year old Slicks !!!!! am I allowed to do a rain dance?

Sadly TVR representation in Britcar and DSC is looking unlikely with both teams hitting snags this week :-(

Slighty O/T, I see that the Porsche 924 championship has now been slipped in with Sunday testing and a race. Race 2 for us has now slipped further back in the day.

Would that be the same 924 porsche series that was at Anglesey last year?? The one with all the damaged cars???

happy endings will be there with both cars still sporting the very nice gaffer tape and some new inserts on the bonnets to cover up all the mesh that is against the regs. and some new tyres as we were both through to the canvass on the rears

I thought your car was moving around a little bit at Cadwell. How long does the canvas last before you need to fit new slicks??

Looks like #24 will be there. Got most of the mechanical work done today and I have four wheels on the car again, with suspension. Just got to fit a front tie bar, set up the geo, and fix all the smashed fibreglass. Hopefully it will all be done tomorrow so I can blow some paint over it next week.

No.9 should be there all been well. If im a good boy next week hopefully my dad will let me do qually and the first race. Pre season testing indicates that its going to be a very exhausting race though, its either time for power steering or a 7 day stint of steroid abuse. I can't wait to get out, its going to be a cracker. See you all on Friday/Saturday

All being well I should be there for race 2 of my life, having fixed the wing damage from my all too embarassing cold tyre, 180 degree spin at virtually the first corner of qualifying (Hairpin), not to mention the 360 spin at Gooseneck. After that have booked a lesson at Castle Combe to try to iron out my inappropriate road habits!

As other Topic, Car all working at last, could do with a but more cooling. but ran great.

As as long as everything still looks ok when we check over the car tomorrow, we will be there hopfully to finsh our 1st race.

Whys the mesh againt the regs. as I have 3 small holes in my bonnet, 2 with mesh and 1 just a hole at the back, plus a hole in the bulge.

I think Keith/Tim's Bonnets are mainly Mesh, with a few bits or grp to hold them together... a couple of reasonable size meshed holes should be fine

We plan to be there, but we have some minor troubles with the car, it has an AJP and runs perfectly for 30 seconds, we even tested it driving and it seems to have all the power, but after 1 mile (on a track of course ;-) it stops.

we already removed a filter and are planning to exchange the 1st fulepump.

What are the symptons if the ECU is still limited in running hours? (like they were when you leased the engine from the factory)

Any ideas?

if it runs I will race it at Rockingham.

OK, the car is now mechanically sound and mended. Geo is all set up and the car is square again. All the smashed bodywork is repaired. All that is needed now is to refix the rear bumper, fill in the horrible bits, and blow a bit of paint on it.
