Kev's Tuscan looks stunning in that pale blue colour, such a shame it met the wall on it's debut it looks likes Matt and everyone else concerned has put a lot of effort into the build, it looks amazing. Hope you're out again soon Kev and hopefully the orange T350 will be there for a newer-TVR show for the fans

Firstly Dries and "The Long Kenyan" who came over from holland to play. great to meet all you guys.
This is the other Long Kenyon. Personality of the day doing what he does best and the view most people get of him at the track.
Finally proof the Mr Abrams does occasionally get his hands dirty.
Mr simpson who came home for an excellent C class win
Tom AKA "The Wall Hugger" drove very well to take Class B honours
looking very relaxed before the race.
Sam took Class A leading from start to finish.
Some blokes also turned up with a couple of old bangers for the day.
Mr Race had a good outing finishing well up the field.
All in all a great anniversary and a shame that more TVR owners didn't come along to support it. thanks to all that did. The shouts from the fans that did turn up were still heard above the cars. Nice to put some faces to some pistonheads pseudonyms

Thanks everybody for the help ( I think it was just about everybody within the tuscan brigade) special mention to dannys dad for helping with the welding, marc and tony for the generator and grinder, cliff for bringing a spare wheel to the circuit so we could move the car again, dave and hugh for keeping us going with tea. thanks Linda Kev's Tuscan looks stunning in that pale blue colour, such a shame it met the wall on it's debut it looks likes Matt and everyone else concerned has put a lot of effort into the build, it looks amazing. I feel sorry for matt he spent the last 6 months day and night building a stunner and i bin it after 4 laps.
I had decided to do 3 laps come in and call it quits ready for the first race but went back out for 2 more laps at 2/3 pace to fully bed the brakes and give the tyres a decent heat cycle.
I need to source near side rear wishbones if anybody knows where i find them, the dampers will have to go back to nitron for rebuilding, new wheels (cliffs department top man) most of the rear end needs fibreglass and repainting hopefully we will be at brands as its the one circuit i really enjoy and allways go well there.
On the plus side watching graham go from 22 on the grid to fourth in the second race speaks for itself, dean and danny at it for the entire race over 2nd place graham (again) and tom for a highly entertaining fourth place scrap. Congratulations sam for winning both races well deserved.

Still not fussed on Rockingham as a venue though, just doesn't have a good feel, unlike the Cadwell/Oulton/Brands/Donny etc...!
I think if Donny had still worked, the turnout would have been much greater.

I would like to add to Keven's post & thank all who offered there help & support at the weekend. ( it seems to me the tuscan challange are a good crowd)
I was surpraised about the atention the car recived, all the good comments have lifted Keven and I to pull out all the stops to get the Tuscan ready for brands.
I now Keven feels bad about what happend but thats motor sport ( been here before ) I had told him if he bins its he is walking home !!!!!

Matt, At least you know it was nothing to do with either the car or the driver that put Kev in the wall. The oil on turn one made it a real lottery if you got round in one piece or had a concrete/grp interface :-(
Fantastic looking car though and the attention to detail on the build was fantastic.

Have to put the oil down to me, the hose that came off with the same one we had as a bypass hose at brands, plus would not have thought having the cooler would have caused any more pressure. sods law it was Kev, who sold me the car. I will get the hoses re-made by a hydraulics company with the highest pressure stuff they have so it can't happen again. as it was on my mind all weekend.
Was also lucky though as I could have collected Sam and Keith as they was both behind me.
