Do you think Porsche would ever join F1?

I'm curious.
We see all the other big car manufacturers in F1 at some point....but Porsche never have beeen.
I'm wondering, with their recent merger announcement with VW, and the proposed Budget Caps supposedly making it cheaper and easier to enter F1, would Porsche ever be tempted to rub shoulders with the likes of Mercedes, Ferrari, and BMW in the F1 scene?

Tell me how Porsche have F1 level expertise in aero, structures and engine technology.
Outside of aerospace I don't think anyone gets near current F1 technology. And I don't think aerospace has such advanced aero!!

Porsche seem more interested in endurance and gt racing, they pretty much always have and as far as i can tell thats how it will be in the future.

Oh my mate used to drive these at 240mph for a living, fastest car he's ever driven.
So Brawn Gp can knock-up a car and beat the field with little money, but Porsche could not get a car built? would why simply not purchase said tech?
I'm sure they could, those fizzy pop boys have done ok, eh.

Brawn had hundreds of millions of Honda money to develop that car.
And a 917 wouldn't see which way an F1 car went on an F1 circuit. The brakes alone are out of the stoneage in comparison.
You really haven't the faintest idea what you are talking about.
